DevOps Consultant, based in Luxembourg to start immediately (maximum 1 months notice)

Initial 6 month mission, with opportunity for further renewals.

 

POSITION

You will be assigned to the IT team responsible for the integration of new business applications.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the release process to minimize operational risk across production and testing environments
  • Align scheduled changes across development and production teams to ensure smooth transitions
  • Lead and organize Change Advisory Board (CAB) sessions to assess and approve change requests
  • Support the full integration of new business applications—from design to deployment—across multiple environments (Development, Testing, UAT, and Production)
  • Manage and carry out technical tasks in line with the needs of various stakeholders (Security, Platform, Production, Infrastructure, external providers, and Development teams)
  • Proactively address risks, technical challenges, and interdependencies within the project scope
  • Liaise with external package providers to ensure alignment with specific technical requirements
  • Co-develop project reference materials and documentation alongside development teams
  • Assess and estimate the effort required for IT-related tasks within the project’s lifecycle
  • Apply continuous improvement strategies through Problem Management practices to reduce downtime of business-critical applications

 

Key collaborators: Development, Service Management (Incident/Problem Management), Database Administration, Network, Virtualization, Tooling, IT Security, and IT Risk..

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Holds an advanced degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Demonstrates strong technical capabilities in object-oriented programming and middleware technologies (e.g., JAVA, C++, application servers)
  • Experienced with containerization, orchestration, and continuous integration/delivery tools (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Familiar with job scheduling and file transfer tools commonly used in enterprise environments
  • Background in financial services or similarly regulated industries is advantageous
  • Actively contributes to process optimization and supports ongoing improvement efforts
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French

 

Please note: Applicants must be eligible to work onsite in Luxembourg.
