Our client an asset manager in Luxembourg, is currently searching for an Accounting & Tax specialist to join them on a permanent basis.
This position would require the selected individual to:
- Manage tax aspects, including VAT and income tax, in accordance with Luxembourg legislation.
- Ensure legal monitoring in tax and accounting law.
- Develop tax structuring and optimization strategies, especially in terms of projects.
- Exploitation of general and analytical accounting data for actual analysis and budgeting processes.
- Preparation of summary notes (technical and operational).
- Produce accurate and relevant financial reports.
- Perform financial control including investment products and participate in the management of the internal control process.
- Provide punctual technical support for accounting closings.
- Collaborate closely with the various teams to ensure transparent communication and effective management of tax processes.
Skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- More than 8 years of experience in a similar role
- In-depth expertise in Luxembourg taxation, particularly in VAT and income tax, as well as solid experience in Luxembourg accounting/management control.
- SAP S/4 Hana knowledge is essential
- Solid expertise and training in Luxembourg tax law, in particular VAT and income tax.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office 365 and in particular proficiency in Excel
- French is essential, with German & Luxembourgish being an asset
- Real Estate experience is desirable, but not essential.
